When Lil Baby and Lil Durk announced their Back Outside Tour in June, it was received with some skepticism. Despite their multi-platinum success, DJ Akademiks dismissed Baby and Durk's aspirations to perform in stadiums, stating, "You'll never see [Baby] tweet that his tour is sold out, they stated it's not selling that much." Lil Baby and Lil Durk, on the other hand, appear to have had the final laugh. The Voice of the Heroes tag team were presented with a framed plaque recognizing the multi-million dollar success of their 23-city countrywide trip after ending off their Back Outside Tour in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday night (October 17).
"250,000 tickets sold, $15 million gross for the entire run," a record executive remarked in a video released on social media over the weekend as he presented Lil Baby with the trophy. "This is a small token from us to you as a way of saying, 'Thank you for everything, man.' It's been a lovely tour.'
